| This single line of the movie is the perfect analogy for this review. This is an adaptation of Paul Bartel directed, produced Roger Corman, 1975 schlock, exploitation trash classic. Way back to grade B was really fun. With a cast as Sylvester Stallone and David Carradine how could it not be? Yes, this formula was simple things (porridge) and it worked. Therefore, how @ # $ & it up? Paul WAS Anderson. This man could not whip cream with an outboard motor. Abysmal dialogue telegraph that any potential spoiler in the future, wooden acting, cliches galore and a soundtrack that sounds like a 12-year-old mix tape. The camera moves so that they can not even see what is happening. What is the point of action sequences if you can not see properly? Just stirring the camera, and after the editing of shots fired in microseconds. For the love of God, has just left. Yet somehow the two-thirds of the way through it retains a degree Z charm. It's silly, so plausible, but attractive. Of course it runs out of steam completely in the third act, and you forget that actually enjoys it at all. The end is flat and schmaltzy and completely out of character for the rest of the film. All this is useless, so turn off your brain and enjoy what they can. |
| Like many comic books, games and original movies have been remade, director Paul WAS Anderson is not new to the remakes. He adapted Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat and AVP. Now remakes the original movie Death Race 2000. No wonder. While watching this movie, I realized that he still has his habit of making lots of games. Death race of the plot is quite similar to those of racing games or survival plot. This reminds me of DOA (Dead Or Alive), which produces Paul. History: Jensen Ames (Jason Statham) is framed for the murder of his wife. He is then sent to jail. Hennessey (Joan Allen) takes him to join the survivors brutal game. He has to kill the other inmates who join the game. The prize is to obtain their freedom. A prisoner has his own partner. The partners are mostly warm chicks. From there, vehicles sequence exciting scenes of blood and ooze out. There is not much gore, but there is blood and language. The plot is so simple, but the idea of hunting scenes and my heart pound. It's like watching a game of survival is developed only by itself.It exploit the screen and your time and nothing else. And do not worry about the plot, which only deal with the exciting game. In general: The waiting for a movement to kill time, this is one of them. Those who want to see another "The Dark Knight" movie, this is not the movie. It is not bad for the mindless action movie. |
