I saw this movie in Cali. at an advanced stage of selection, sponsored by the Regional Air Quality Management Board. My biggest problem with this show that is playing out like a documentary, when it is not. Even the slogan: "A real adventure in the best place on earth" involves documentary. The truth is that while each shot was taken in the Arctic, and they were not made, the characters, Nanu and Sela were "composite character" composed of various animals which were filmed by directors of his time in the Arctic. Basically, the story was made up. In addition, many of the shots that we are "action pictures" (this is obvious, the quality is significantly lower). In addition, the editing was bad, and only a child would think that the scenes played really the way it portrays. The sound is also badly edited and, although it can not be sure, I imagine that many of the sounds did not occur as shown in the film (pull my flipper ??!!) Furthermore, I believe that Queen Latifah lines were poorly written, and it is a poor writer to boot. Basically, I think the issue is dealing with here is too important to the directors of fabricating a story that show. Tell him how it is. If you can not go 1 bear and 1 walrus, do not pretend you did. We can still get the point that global warming is affecting the Arctic, and we can avoid it. . . you do not have to do things until they tell us about it!
