| Diane Lane in the performance of this film was nominated for a Golden Globe and Academy Award, enough to capture my interest and the excuse to say that I was looking to explore their artistic merits, rather than its most exciting. It is no secret that this movie shows a lot of skin, which is after all the story of Diane Lane for the suburban housewife Connie Summers cheating on her husband Edward (Richard Gere), upset with the Frenchman Paul (Oliver Martinez ). The complexity of the husband-wife relationship was well played, because while on the surface there is nothing wrong with their relationship, showed how he had only Connie needs is not in their marriage. It's a little frustrating the way secondary characters in the movie is useless, but real purpose of imposing their visions of the world on the tracks, is too obvious and easy. The filmmaker also had this annoying habit of focusing on the inanimate objects, as it was on purpose trying to force visual metaphors. The final was terrible, however, as if the writer had run out of ideas. I'm not sure how I wanted the film to end, but the way it is played in the film was not her. Overall, the film was generally entertaining while I was watching, but deeply unsatisfactory as has been done. |
| Greetings again from the darkness. Therefore, many brilliant reviews for this movie that I found to be very predictable and almost Emotionless for this emotional issue. OK, the topic is handled in a little more realistic manner that is customary in Hollywood, but still no real surprises. Diane Lane has underestimated some good moments of chagrin and regret, but the two men co-stars seem to be little more than decoration. The little son of "Malcolm in the Middle" is there to make us believe that Gere and Lane have a wonderful family life and living in a dream house. It's just hard for me to believe that someone pull this perfect life of lust ... especially with time to reflect on the way. And I am a man! Director Adrian Lyne has a good history of showing the weak side of people. I believe that specializes in this because it is an easy topic / target. It's nice to see a movie written by the crowd of more than 35. Now if we can go a little further. |

They are thriller.It of a competent stylish and can not have perhaps the best character development and accumulation in the world, but it's really not lifted by the end Gere powerful performance as the betrayed husband devastated, it really comes to light when Martinez.Adrian is going to deal with the leadership of Lyne is well along, with many exciting twists and sudden turns, wonderfully executed and hit the mark perfectly .*** |
