| This movie: Superman: Doomsday was good or maybe great for what it is, but feel short changed. The struggle between the doomsday was WOW! The funeral was EXCELLENT! The resurrection was good, but I was expecting to see the return of Superman after death the way it is depicted in the comic strip. There should also be shown JLA demolish Doomsday. I understand that this is only a'Superman history, but have had only 5 minutes to demolish JLA Doomsday. Doomsday which have expanded and the rest of the 65 minutes would focus on Superman! Jimmy could have said: "My God Lois Doomsday JLA defeats in 5 minutes! How Superman on Earth will be defeated!" In the four cartoon characters that appear to replace Superman. In the movie: Superman: Doomsday there is only one ... a clone. Note in the comic is actually clone the cyborg, but I think the filmmakers wanted to change too. Overall, a very entertaining movie. This DivX film Superman: Doomsday is loosely inspired by the death and resurrection graphic novels. If you can accept that, then you'll enjoy it. I admit I did .... |
| If your fan is not a comic, like you might be better than someone familiar with the Doomsday (Superman dies) history, a lot of things missing from the comics, that is, it seems that Superman is the only hero Earth in this animated film, No Justice League or any other hero, perhaps due to licensing rights, as it is strange that the World Bank which owns DC Comics, so not sure how licensing issues arise. The animation is so well, I liked the best animated Justice League, the animation seems Hodge podge of different styles, some anime, some kind of animated Justice League, and 80 'style, also Luthor in the animated television series seems much better done, this Luthor seems flat and killed for no reason, killing seemed contributed mercy and give value to the crash. Including all the death of Superman seems equally flat, with no world reaction, of course, no superhero funeral possession, a few minutes from the grave, etc., not only the emotional value to it, Superman is dead, here is his monument, OK with the story, and his return seemed just as flat and just thrown together, clone and resurrection .. The Justice League animated story of a death was not associated with Superman Doomsday, and is doing much better, I went as an avalanche of work, and slapped together to fill 90 minutes, leaving behind almost everything that made history Supermans death in comics so well done. |
