| I did like acting because I think Laura Prepon gave an opportunity to leave his "Donna" person and I think that Misha Collins is good too. Both are young players and gave a good performance as both the seemingly perfect couple and cold people who were portraying. I do not blame the people of Canada for being annoying. I do not know much about the Canadian justice system, but I can say this, they are doing something right, because they have fewer social problems in the U.S. ago and I think they are more proactive with its judicial system and in reality real rehabilitation instead of having to pretend rehabilitation. I have always thought that making a movie or TV show without permission from the victim's families is a mistake unless there is a great lesson that people need to learn. Many parents give permission for the TV to warn children and parents of the dangers of somethings, but to make a film about real events without their consent is terrible. Canadians seem quieter than we are in the U.S. and Hollywood filmmaker had no right to do so without the permission of the victims. Some stories should be told because we, as citizens of this world should learn from them. However, I have a difficult time seeing what good can come of this story, Laura EXCEPT for the execution of Karla as it is not a victim as she said it was. There were people who could go. I really just wanted to see how Laura to do with this character, I felt terrible for families. |
| Anyone interested in true crime, drama, the story of Paul and Karla or just get the hell scared of you, you should check out this movie. Despite the frenzy of media was the case in Canada is not the same in the United States, the story of this couple is like the tagline to say, deeply disturbing. My wife and I saw this movie and I got scared as he was. We've talked about it for days and still controls the locks on the doors at night. This is a great movie, and I think the director did a fantastic job interpreting this story. I would call entertaining and informative. Laura and Misha should be applauded for there courage to take on the roles of these people really sick. |
