This is the worst of the confessions of the series. Robin Askwith So stop making these movies and start making new and better films. It's a joke of a Confessions from a Holiday Camp Comedy and I laughed all the way through, because it was funny, because just sucks so much. 1 / 10 If you like this try: Any number of other faiths
Fourth and last in the scuzzy 'Confessions' series, with charmless hooker Robin Askwith working in the holiday camp dreariest you ever saw and getting up to all the usual antics with various guests. This is not as spicy coast postal humor as "Razzle letters on the page, with functions demeaning to women and a barrage of unfunny and sometimes homophobia gags add to the" fun ". Askwith, as usual, mugs, as if his life depended on it, while the Confessions from a Holiday Camp Comedy film offers a Masterclass in how to make a group of attractive women seem completely devoid of sex appeal. Apart from not putting off shags, the DVD film Confessions from a Holiday Camp is a succession of scenes that created Punchline but never delivered.
I saw this Confessions from a Holiday Camp film in 1977, aged 21, stoned, sitting up the back of the Odeon in Kensington High Street, with some friends, the consumption of snuff. And laughed. We laughed a lot actually. See it on DVD in my living room in the house, aged 52, on a cold Friday night, by myself - and, surprise, surprise, there was no more fun. Not only is their time, but also his place in history. It is cheap, written without much imagination, not real and laughs with some (by 2008 standards) cringe-inducing racism and sexism. But for all that, like the doctor and Carry On films, it's easy to see and has a fascinating charm of all that Britain's own. I suppose that the appeal at its basic level - is simple. It is said that even if you are ignorant, thick and ugly, just have to smile and sexy woman will fall on you always, even to the point row, five at a time, to hide in your wardrobe. If only real life were like that.
I liked the others but it is unfunny.the really only worth seeing the scene is of two types speaking, from a good fight while keeping away from each other. This is more than soft porn comedy.it lacks big names in the cast this time round. The the jokes are not only funny.1 of the 10
This Confessions from a Holiday Camp Comedy film is really quite horrible, and some of the characters made me cringe! very poor performance, address, etc., could learn a thing or two from the 'Follow' movies. Is not better than any of the others' Confessions'films, I just saw the end to read the credits - there were some familiar faces, what happened to the child actor, I wonder. His name was Robert Booth? I noticed that the train station had "Hayling" in which, perhaps Hayling Island? Anyone who knows the camp that was filmed in? I used to go to the Coronation and the Sun on the island, those were the days! Me wonder if his stepfather PM seen! The similarity is quite strange. Yuk!
The end of the Confessions from a Holiday Camp movie "Confessions" Timmy took Lea and series co. Funfrall to leave Camp. I used to work in a (as a chef) so you need to know how it is. Some of the things I've seen would even blush Timmy! Its the usual slap and tickle, animated by guests of John Junkin, Colin Crompton and Lance Percival (whose role seems to have been written by Kenneth Williams!). Liz Fraser and Linda Hayden returned as different characters. Top marks to the cast to throw themselves into the part with abandon. It could not have been easy to be filmed in bikinis and swim trunks in March. "Confessions of a plumber's Mate" was planned, but Columbia shut down DivX Movie Confessions from a Holiday Camp production in the UK and was unmade, wet Timmy's ardor for good. Those who call the 'Confessions' DVD film Confessions from a Holiday Camp should take a look at the' Adventure series, we were really terrible. I hope you never try to revive "Confessions, as the 'Carry On' films, which were of their time. Naughty but nice!
