| I first heard about this movie on the BBC with a film critic saying that it was already the strongest candidate for an Oscar, and he would go all the way by saying that it was the best movie of the year (2008 that is). Well, I saw the movie and I have to say, the plot is not bad but could have been much better, some things just did not make any sense to me. And everything - from a point then goes in the past, and then in the future, and then change the character - which is used in fact is so used that it is starting to be annoying. Why not just show us a movie from beginning to end? Starting the final and return to the top if desired. Just do not start in the center, go to the beginning, and then back to the end, then in half, and then to the top, which ruins the whole movie. I will give something to this movie - a lot (I mean big) who act not only Philip Seymour Hoffman (most people only talk about it when we talk about this movie), I think that all the main characters had a great acting from Marisa Tomei to Albert Finney to Ethan Hawke, etc etc And that's the only reason that I give a 6, otherwise it would be a floor 4 |
