| Very good. Adam Sandler plays dysfunctional characters all the time. What did people think that it would be like in this movie is beyond me. Get ready for dysfunctional in a fun way. If you can not handle seeing someone "father" in a "so dysfunctional," this is not for you. Do not waste your time with this. But if you can appreciate a total "loser" who does not even have a five-year plan that suddenly is caring for a child as best they know how, and then try a present. This is not for children. This is not for people with "homosexual problems", either. The plot was hilarious, the fact was good in most parts. Some of the acting is wooden, as is often the case when certain functions are given to actors who are not comfortable with what they have to do. Maybe the casting could have been better there. For anyone who has seen this movie, "Hooters". Everyone else can see the movie to catch this reference. Enjoy this with people who know that life in the film should not be taken seriously. Keep in search of Rob Schneider. His character is nice and going to have a cameo in a movie of Sandler later. (Mr. Deeds) Weird but true! I loved this movie. But then I found Sandler character to be delightfully dysfunctional. And I certainly did not take it seriously! |
| This movie was great! I do not usually like Adam Sandler movies, but their role was incredible! The manner in which he took over his "son" was so hilarious yet touching at the same time. Well worth the time to see it and not stop laughing! As he begins to fall in love with Julian, who is on a whole different person and becomes almost ideal father. When you go to court, everyone can say that Julian would rather be with Sonny, Adam Sandler, to go with the guy of Social Services because of the bond hilarious that have built one another. This film is a classic Adam Sandler with his humor, but she has a soft side too. Sandler fans will not be disappointed and newcomers to his humor, or they really do not like him, this is one of the funniest of the films is the time. |

This is a good movie, because of that. In fact, it has a very good story. This film was good in all directions. Adam Sandler has done a good job on this and so did the child. He had a good story and a good script. It seems that there was a good direction for this movie. Adam Sandler does not deserve to win, or even being nominated for worst actor in the Razzia.
