| This is a terrible, terrible movie. The first two of the series were quite simple, fun movie, based mainly in performances of Eddie Murphy, however, with strong backup from the rest of the cast (especially in the first), and some eighty 'cool 'Factor that, while obviously dated, still charms. In this however, Eddie Murphy wears a bit thin, and the plot reads like a McBain (of the Simpsons fame) the film, with its horrible clichés and terrible script. Even the music was redone so that only once in making films here in its classical version. And what was going on with Judge Reinhold? Axel Foley guess it just has no place in the 90s. |
| You might think that anyone can do hilarious Amazon Women on the Moon would be a good director. Sorry, Mr. Landis, but it exploded in a present. Maybe it was just too much a sequel, but fell short of the two previous ones and it is something to see if there is absolutely nothing else on TV. Only Billy Rose (Judge Reinhold) and Todd Inspector (Gilbert R. Hill) are back with Axel Foley in this one. Billy is great with Axel, but this movie simply does not have the action of the other two. Theresa Randle provides the eye candy. |
| The first Beverly Hills Cop was well done and very funny. The second Beverly Hills Cop is not as good as one, but it is still nice, and very funny. Beverly Hills Cop 3 is the weakest film of the three. There is nothing that was very exciting or fun about it. Eddie Murphy does not crack me as it did in the first two movies. Here is older and very tired as he does not want to be in this movie. His other friend in this film also is wasted, and Theresa Randle picked the wrong movie set in itself. John Landis was the wrong man to set loose in the world of Eddie, because he can not direct trash. Blues Brothers was good because of the music and the two that takes a lot of fun together. |
| How could make a more than two films in the series? The Beverly Hills Cop films is a signal to moviegoers around the world to put a big star in anything he has done already familiar to the death, and the best way for the way it is a total lack of originality. In the event that only had the damn thing funny, at least, but John Landis, who is usually quite reliable as a director of comedy, seems more interested in making cameos by directors in each scene, so at least be something that you can kill time location. Each character is deaf, and the reprise of pink and the characters of Serge only generate mild interest because we've seen before. The villain, played by Timothy Carhart, is totally expendable and is a wonder why they could not, at least, have resulted in a stereotype as the captain of police in the first two parts. That have generated some mild chuckles at least. Murphy would go on playing two policemen in more films to date, but here the general idea that the police outsider solve everything has completely lost its security and try to make sense of closure and not a trivial clash between police and the villain in the amusement park. It is incredible that the rival Warner Bros. could make a movie series where the sequels that ten times more entertaining that the two sequels of BHC, but perhaps it is because they were all done by the same team Donner and silver. Three directors have been assigned to a Beverly Hills Cop movie and I think that if there is fourth in the path of a new director who is a hemline too. |
| ... or should be better. Eddie is back for a third time. This time in the nineties. Is it still the same as in the classic 80. Unfortunately, no. Where is the problem. Eddie is funny as in the former two sides, but everything else is changed. The story is missing a lot of laughs and, in some places it seemed that means that for children. Well, I could go on and on, but why bother to read the criticism before the mine and see what I mean. Overall, a third still offers some entertainment, but unfortunately that does not comply Fans of these series. 5, 10. |
| How Landis, Lucas, Murphy and even lend themselves to this debacle is beyond me. Maybe it would not have been so bad if the implausibilities many do not make a departure from the first movie, which I thought was very good. The armed rescue of the Ferris wheel? Come on! Nobody has that kind of strength. And how did escape from burning his hand on the rope?
