| Reese Witherspoon is a delight, like Mark Ruffalo. Their onscreen chemistry is fantastic. My gentleman friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. There is some "blooper" we are in, however. There is a native San Franciscan value of salt that never NEVER refers to our beloved city as "Frisco", as was painted on the side of a pickup towards the end of the film. A little thing, but anyone writing a script centered in San Francisco, as it was, would do well to take note of that fact. Otherwise, it was a couple of hours well spent. Thanks to the writers, cast and crew to put its best foot forward and that this together! |
| I just saw this movie. Sunday nights can be Stinkers cable, but I gave it a shot anyway. Now I can officially say that I am in love with Reese Witherspoon. She is a great actress. Rufallo also did a great job. The story, a kind of cross between "Topper" and "City of Angels" is well written, beautifully acted and incredibly he said. The "friend" who plays the psychic is a classic. There are some great Spoofs in other films that deal with the supernatural as it were, but intertwined with some very funny things is a story about love and possibility. This film could not have been better if Hepburn and Grant did. And when you see it, you may wonder if maybe it is possible that they did. |
| There have been many films of the fantasies beyond, A few have succeeded like Topper, and here comes MR JORDAN Most, though some will lose and lose by a country mile, JUST LIKE HEAVEN is in the same class as the 2 leads TOPPRR, Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon have nearly the kind of Cary Grant and Constance Bennett. The supporting cast of HERE COMES MR JORDAN perhaps the film is so well Remembered. In the same sky above the 2 stars are excellent supporting cast headed by Jon Heder, Donal Logue, Dina Waters, Ivana Milicevic, to help make this comic fantasy drama almost as good as Here comes Mr. Jordan. Waters directed with a sure mark of change, his wife, Dina Waters, and not issued by nepotism. Peter Tolan and Leslei Dixon's script is very good, I'm sorry to say, although there are some cliches and there are few surprises. However, this is a family film that everyone can enjoy. | I just finished watching this movie and it is impressive. I could not even pause for a second to get a drink! This film is so different and that really draws in. I liked all the acting and the plot can not be improved. I can not recommend this movie enough if you like a heart warming romantic story with a twist. The landscape in San Francisco is also beautiful. I guess that the film has a somewhat slow start and not quite sure where it's going, but it quickly picks up speed. It's also nice to see a movie where no one knows exactly what will happen. Even movie really caught my boyfriend watching picky. I bought this movie before I saw him, and I'm happy because I will definitely see again! |
| An excellent comedy starring Reese Witherspoon as a dedicated doctor who spends all his time in a hospital patient care. The problem is that she is left in a coma after a traffic accident. The fun begins when Mark Ruffalo, a young widow, is in her apartment and saw his ghost. The film is about how the two fall in love while Ruffalo is the only one who can see Witherspoon. The plot thickens when a doctor at the hospital wants to get out of his life support system and Ruffalo must try to save his terrible fate awaiting her. This becomes hilarious. This is a film dealing with a second chance and it's time to smell the roses too. Beautifully acted by Miss Witherspoon and Ruffalo, who have excellent chemistry on screen. |
| Its been a long time since I've enjoyed a romantic comedy so much - possibly the last romantic comedy I liked it very much as it was two weeks in the Notification of 2002. The cast is fantastic - Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon for doing a great chemistry on screen and the script is strong but is not everything, and comedy, subtle moments and now has enough supply to make it gel and become credible. Even men in the group enjoyed the movie, laugh and sigh along with us girls, which is quite impressive as is normally seen as romantic films Girly garbage to be avoided like the plague. While not set to see this movie, we really wanted to see King Kong tickets, but had sold out, is well worth seeing and I can not wait to see it again on DVD! |
