| This film is absolutely wonderful. Ron Livingston, Michael Sheen and Yul Vazquez are unforgettable in this movie. His performances are so real and true. Michael Sheen in the transformation of his character, Art, will leave the spectators in this silent movie. The music of this movie is really amazing as well. The story is very inspiring and really makes you want to go out and make a difference in someone's life. It will not be surprised to see this movie to receive the high profile it deserves. Also, I hope to see more films of this nature that promote the incredible experience that you learn as you see this movie |
| As a Vietnam Vet with similar disabilities could relate to what Richard had to turn to be recognized. The film was fun, but to this point. There should be an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Michael Sheen. I Within Music beforehand on the film festival in Palm Springs. We have been able to question the actors, director and producer in the realization of the sample. That was very instructive. Richard valadated the historical accuracy of the history and impact of the Americans with Disabilities Presendenal had on the election of George H Bush. ADA was passed in his administration. The impact of disabilitiy Richard and his recovery took my trip to see the same audiologist and now I can hear much better than the VA of the devices. |
| I just saw "Inside the Music" at the Festival of Palm Springs and what a wonderful film that is. Honest, humorous and enlightening. I enjoyed the fact that this is not a message of jam in his throat. I never felt manipulated by the filmmaker. This young fellow (Steven Sawalich) has done a wonderful first film. The performances are really good. Ron Livingston does a great job as lead. Michael Sheen offers a dynamite turn as Art, a young man torn Cerabal Palsey. The wonderful trick we pulled out (I guess that with the help of the director) is understandable when the character needed to be and still create the illusion that he had CP. Another highlight was acting as Yul Vazquez this crazy Mike veterinarian. Virtually every performance was solid. Hector Elizondo plays the college professor of voice perfectly. Even Clint Howard and displays scores. For a little indie, it looks great and has a great period (50, 60 and 70) are feeling. No showboating, just right. The music helps them pick up a lot. It's one of those movies you go home, think and call their friends the next day to say on the matter. |
