| To be fair I love Lady and the Tramp so I am expecting a lot. But this story doesn't even come close to the magic of the original. Very cheap that the reuse of the bits of the original story to the right down the infamous Spaghetti Dinner. They created a former "best friend" for vagrant and didn't use any of his original band. Rusty and Jacques are hardly around. Not to mention that bum completely turned his back to their old habits. Even their children lied by saying he has been a house dog his entire life. The premise is that the son wants to be a "wild dog". Basically it's like a rebellious teenager. Aleast I have two suggestions on what would have been a better story. I dread the aftermath of Cinderella! My nephew loves to 5 years, but for someone who grew up in the romance of his lady and tramp .... to jump! |
| I rented this movie, knowing that it would be wrong (I've only seen a good sequel to Disney and that was Toy Story 2), but was well below my expectations. I am a Die Hard fan of Disney and I simply do not believe in sequels to films from Disney. For someone who did not grow up with the classics (either watching when he left, or rental since they were born) is a nice story. I think that the plot was dragged out a bit too much, and it was predictable. The only thing that bothers me most is the voice of girls from Lady and Tramp. They were too high pitch. Although most commentators say it is not too bad, I think if you're a true fan of Disney, you should not waste your time with this. We hope that Disney does not make sequels to any of the other classics anytime soon. |
| I'm confused? Is there to be a story somewhere in this mess of a Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure Adventure film 70 minutes children? The songs are not half of what were the original ... The animation was great, but lacks the appearance of the first. There was no style, only substance Disney ... really seems to lose its aftermath ... Except for the Lion King 2 .... And now we have a Peter Pan Sequel to hope that in March 2002. Scott Wolf and Alyssa Milano as the principal voices are excellent ... There was still no meat in this Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure film .... Rushed, the songs were rushed through .... I can not say this was anything but a mess for Disney to make a little bank ... as they need the money ... 4 out of 10 |
