| This film is based on a simple fact: Do you or do you not only enjoy Will Ferrel? If the answer is yes, then you will enjoy this a lot. Because there is not much new here doing: Ferell is like another idiot, self-loving, strong and led by beef, thin professionals ready ... inserting obscure profession or athlete. This is only "Anchorman", "Ricky Bobby," "Blades of Glory", or whatever you save in basketball. If you love movies, and Will Ferrel the blatant Antics (I'm not saying that's wrong, I'm saying I want to see you try something else now and then) and then here's one for you. But they also give prestige to the players (like Woody Harrelson, who in a stroke of brilliance, is acting as if in a drama, not an actual travesty), the inspiration 70s soundtracks and references. 6 / 10 |
| This film is a perfect example of why Ferrel has to find its purpose fast before he becomes irrelevant. After sitting through this movie, I started to think about why I did not like it. Ferrel had all the-isms of the previous films. Ron Burgandy, Chad Michael Michaels, Ricky Bobby, and so made an appearance. So, why was not a classic formula so miserably here? And then hit me. Will Ferrel is because they can not carry a film on his own. He is a great catalyst for action in a movie, however can not be a movie. True, Ron Burgandy is a hilarious, but what about news of his crew? How many lines are quoted from this quartet of idiots? Or Chad Michael Michaels? Ferrel to remember his strength is a solid comedy series. While it has shown some real acting talent, it still will never be able to make a film on his own. |
| One. I counted. Is the line about how the team is doing a terrible job of stabilization Jackie Moon's neck when he was carried off the court. A laugh. Not even a big laugh. A small laugh. Had it been a long six seconds of film, and had been the only line, it would have been a great success. It is almost impossible to make a film of this unfunny, even if only one person involved with the creative material, whether an actor, a writer, anyone-hand. But nobody is trying, everyone just wanted their salaries. I hope that the cast spent on liquor and drugs enough to bury the guilt of having sold their souls. I hate this movie. I hate those people who did this pile steam and put into theaters, and released on DVD, and sold it to people. It shows real by the audience. And I will tell you what you already, the feeling mutual. |
