| Tekken the movie is based on the Namco game with the same name. It has some of the best fighters in the world, gathered to compete for the title as the best fighter in the world martial arts tournament in Iron Fist. " After just watching the movie I feel like the producers could have done much more with this movie, it felt incomplete. The character development never worked, the voice of the actors (referring to the version in English) where awfull. Although the animation is acceptable, that is far from good. The story is thin and never introduced him to most of the characters in the game. I would give it a 4 of 10, but sadly not true that deserves much more. |
| I personally am a big fan of the Tekken series (specifically 3 and Tag Tournament), and when I saw it was a Tekken anime, I was very excited. Since I could not find anywhere else, I began to download on Kazaa. It took two or three days to unload, creating the anticipation of seeing one of my favorite video game brought to life. When they finally were, I was completely disappointed. This movie had very little redeeming qualities to it: the characters were mostly annoying (ie Chaolan-Lee, Anna and Nina, Heihachi, Jun Kazama), and as mentioned earlier, the fight and character development were minimal. It seemed the most interesting was Jack and girls, although it seemed a bit corny, and before you (the set of machine learning to feel, etc. ..). The plot goes all over the place and ended just like the game. What also bothered me was that some of the most interesting characters in the series (Paul Phoenix, King and Armor King, Yoshimitsu, etc. ..) to be in about 5 seconds in second place in the final scene. Much of the movie is totally free (Anna in the shower scene, the stealth dinosaur mutants). This film is a 2 for the effort and half interesting couple of scenes with Jack. |
