I saw this all the time we came out and loved it then and I still love it. The act is not always perfect, but it's always entertaining. I never got bored. Of course, we wish there was less swearing and that the "almost love scene" was left out, so you could sit and watch this with my children. John Travolta and Kirsty ally are both absolutely adorable in his role. Although the film does not take me through their emotions more harsh with them. I do not feel for her when her baby's daddy not to proceed with his paternal responsibility. And I really do not feel sorry for him during his unfulfilled (at least temporarily) love. I guess that is what makes this movie so much fun, though. You are not shot down by what can only focus on fun and improvement of the parties without your dwelling into account the trials of the characters. I recommend this movie to anyone who is not hung up on the little things (and I think most people). So, go rent. It may be old to a movie, but has not lost any of its luster. Enjoy. |
Kristy is a dead CPA / Auditor You know what the client (George Segal), is in !!!!!! Mother (Olypia Dukakis) is always talk Father (sorry I do not know the name may be lower) never talks, allows women to do all the talking and always using a "ten". Brother, can you burn from a "great company" to be more stereotypical. Great scenes and dialogue in this and sequels, like the time her husband (John Travolta) comes home and finds wife has been reading the magazines, went to sleep, no sex tonight. I like the film but the screenwriter take bad advice from H & R Block and blame all the counters for that. |
The concept of woman-with-man-boy-meets and falls in love has been done to death in the film industry. The only thing that can save a movie gets lost in the hash is a trick that makes it unique. Fortunately, "Look Who's Talking" gives a new perspective on an otherwise trivial situation, showing the baby from the point of view. Even this could be annoying if it were not for the fact that instead of having a child actor of meat to the nature, smart, snappy dialogue is delivered by Bruce Willis in his most sympathetic role as "moonlighting". If they had used a child's voice, lines like "Let's get some apple juice down here!" simply would be nice, with Willis' snarl of smoke, are hysterically funny. |
