Melanie Carmichael (Reese Witherspoon), an up and rising fashion designer in New York, has gotten almost everything she wished for since she was little. She has a great career and the JFK-like husband of New York City. But when he proposes to her, she doesn't forget about her family back down South - and, more importantly, her husband back there, who refuses to divorce her ever since she sent divorce paper for almost 5 years. To settle matters straight, she decides to go to the south quick and make him sign the papers. But when things don't turn out the way she planned them out, she realizes that what she had before in the south was far more perfect than the life she had in new york city.

I was so excited to see this Sweet Home Alabama film that I was right and paid the full price for that on Saturday night. This is a huge disappointment! I have no problem with movies that appeal to the thirteen years of age. I am the queen of teen movies, but this DVD film Sweet Home Alabama is garbage. cliches and stereotypes were rampant and is so bad. i love Reese Witherspoon, but this is the worst DivX Movie Sweet Home Alabama I've seen her in. lovely to look at, but did not make me laugh once. Candace was good for a few laughs, and both the husband and the husband-to-be were nice to look at (I liked Patrick Dempsey is no longer able to buy my love), but the film: Sweet Home Alabama was so god-awful it is painful to watch. had a double-wide trailer, the confederate flag, war re-enactment, the dog and coon coon dog graveyard, women with one million children and their overweight, mullet-wearing husband, the bad accent of the south, the old speed of light trucks, high Hairspray blows, blah, blah, blah. is a great cliche! I have lived in the south of the country for 29 years and not know anyone who is like the people in this movie. and there was no chemistry between Reese and the two men. I do not believe that not even wanted to marry Patrick Dempsey, and the commitment scene was not the most incredible commitment scene as another reviewer mentioned. is totally unbelievable. i do not feel the chemistry between her and Jake well. the scenes where two of every one of them saw for the first time in many years only Cheesy slap-stick comedy. and the end was predictable, unrealistic, and stupid. do not lose their money in this movie. go see my big fat Greek wedding in place again.

I've never seen a film: Sweet Home Alabama that has hit this house as a fact. It's my life story, except that I stayed with the man with money. I am much better today but I still think of my old life. It's nice to see that work for their sake. I have this DivX Movie Sweet Home Alabama close to my heart and so does my ex-husband. Maybe someday, but would have to do something quite extraordinary, as did Jake. I see this film: Sweet Home Alabama again and again, knowing that every time I see it, I think of my past. My favorite part of the Sweet Home Alabama Comedy movie is the bar scene when she returns home. After a few years of that is gone, I did the same. However, I was carried out by a Bouncer, not my soon to be ex. I love Reese to make this movie. She always had a place in my heart for the role it plays.

Reminiscences of Four Weddings, but with a big "All American" feel. Delightfully written and acted and thought. After three blockbusters in the run-up to Christmas, all of whom were first-rate, which is a delight to return to "little" films on the family, and what makes people "tick". I enjoyed this DivX Movie Sweet Home Alabama very much indeed!
