Of white dots moving horizontally across the screen to echo firearm, as Bond has been fired. We are in the first James Bond film. It moves at a rapid pace and Terence Young directs with an efficient maintenance of adherence to Ian Fleming novel.Highlights include the introduction of James Bond himself in the casino with the theme of stressing Monty Norman - The entry into the movie: Dr. No Honey played by Ursula Andress. She is a great match and Sean Connery scenes, along with a strong chemistry. For me the Dr. No Action film is great because of its simplicity - Bond takes a hair of his scalp to put on the door of her room to see if someone enters your room - which incidentally is a card game with him in preparation for arrival of the teacher - these moments are real tension. Joseph Wiseman is restricted and menacing in his portrait of Dr. No. I imagine that the public theater in 1962 had never seen any Dr. No Action like it!

Dr. No was the first official Bond film: Dr. No in 1962. Not a bad film, but there is no typical elements Bond. Sean Connery is well in his first outing as 007, but has not yet made its own Bond. The performance of the other actors is not great and scriptdialogue is one of the best. Ursula Andress was named one of the most memorable Bond girls, but I really can not see why. His performance is quite poor. However, very pleasant to see. Although this has not aged well over the years in comparison with other movies. Dr. No is probably the image of Bond.
