| Just when you thought that Michael Bay has cemented its place as the king of Second Film Unit comes along I Am Legend. $ 150 million-fx why? I went back and THE OMEGA MAN rated higher than I had before I saw (progressively worse) of the trailers. Now I see that to achieve tower it really is. The Corringtons (which, together, can not be compared to the writings of the greatest of the great masters of horror, Richard Matheson) dumbed the original story of 1971 and the audience a witless question behind this apparently did not bother to return and read the book, simply use the script from the point of jumping Corrington (if only!). A lead smelter whose credentials are questionable at best, no help. Opting to turn the vampires in the novel cgi may've mutants appeared to be another stroke of genius filmmakers, but it did not. By a mile. Only someone who knows how to run videocy (stupid game) could really appreciate the monsters in it. (There are some great pictures of a deserted city of New York, but with a price of $ 5 million, should have ... at least.) Dumber even the last man on earth, I Am Legend sucks. |
| This DVD film I Am Legend is an abomination of the most powerful proportions. Anyone who has read the book explains in large, bright letters. Will Smith has done a very good performance in the past, but this is a catastrophic mistake in the casting. The books and the character can be changed, but the darkest edges should be maintained. Scenes with Bob Marley and Shrek mental IDing a 'survivor' were never provided. The idea of seeing his wife and son succumb virus induce a nightmare scenario. Put them in a mad struggle to escape from a helicopter is boring and predictable so that they wanted to mourn (and not for the right reasons). Chicken is also a day walking vampire. There are no humans left! No f-ing shelter in Vermont. Life as we know, is over. Robert Neville is a myth, a ghost, a legend. The idiot who did this must dig itself a shallow grave and bury himself and the film. Tombstone that says "DNR." |
| An absolute waste of time. This film: I Am Legend is slow. Has a history and a stupid pet character that redemption comes from his search for a cure for the disease that killed him created most of the planet. It really is a blunt, clear-core Christian evangelical-piece of propaganda of the worst kind. What is this DivX Movie I Am Legend for us? The Apocalypse is near! It is, of course, is shown as a divine sentence and revenging angry god. The survivors are, of course, resolve the loss unless he takes on faith. And, finally, the heavenly Jerusalem, where they find shelter for the survivors, of course, looks remarkably like an 19th century Amish village - a picturesque wooden chapel in the center surrounded by a concrete wall built like that Israelis to confine Palestinians.
