| I've seen this DVD movie Mad Max 100s of times. I bought the DVD and tape every time I feel a little blue and I just throw that get pumped up and feel like just get in my car and go where the path leads me. Some people say it is not good because it is too slow in the medium or its not as good as other movies or what ever, and that is the view that people of good. I would have been cooler than it had the money to put in the extra scenes persecution they wanted, but thems the breaks. To me it's stood the test of time *** SPOILER *** Bopper great just to see who will drop in and start recording backups and wheels, or when Max is going to get his revenge, or when Max was shot in the knee and gets up and limps back into his own supercharged black Falcon GT top 74 RE hard to give a great persecution. It would be interesting to see them do a remake with cars today but are approaching the use of plastic and that's-an accident that cars today, faster or not they can not compete with the muscle cars of the'60s and 70's in Australia. |
| This is a post-apocalyptic DivX film Mad Max dealing with the end of the world, as well as the 7 sisters. This is a term for the conspiracy of a monopoly in world gas prices. The DivX Movie Mad Max is random, but fun and exciting. Anyone who sees it as if they were in the same situation. It's not really a great start for a trilogy of Mad Max 2, but it is big. And the whole thing is fun. I think films like this are very important in days like this, where oil is expected that every move we make. I think the Mad Max film as Mad Max 1 and 2 are hated by the oil industry, showing a face that is not represented in everyday life. |
| An astonishing achievement given the low budget was, Mad Max still impresses as a tense, violent and exciting work of Pulp Fiction. Granted, the pace slackens from time to time, but this is a great B-movie with extra punch thanks to some exciting footage of persecution and kinetic editing and camera work. Police officer Max (Mel Gibson), is not really crazy until near the end, but even from the start of his silence, intense behavior suggests that it is a little nervous, to establish "a couple of years from now, the roads Australia are the battleground for police and a motorcycle gang led by sadistic Toecutter (Hugh Keays savage execution-Byrne). Things are too dangerous for Max, it is withdrawn with his wife and son, but his old enemies are not far behind, leading to a dramatic conclusion powerful. It is a bit rough around the edges, and the bombastic soundtrack of Brian May (most certainly not the Queen guitarist of the same name ) is a little too much when the action sequences scoring, but this is a very good start for a series even better with Mad Max 2. |
| Not many low budget films age well, but certainly has Mad Max. I have seen again recently, had only vague memories of seeing years ago, but I found it to hold good. Only by reading the comments of other users do not realize that I had been copied! What a load of rubbish. Why a Mad Max movie in English be dubbed in English! If you can not understand Aussie accents, they do not deserve the pleasure of seeing this film. I can not imagine this DVD film Mad Max with the same effect without the Australian accent. George Miller did with this script is quite simple remake. The camera angles and the speed with which it moves along the Mad Max movie at times were exciting, not to mention the great tips and even the humor barbarian (pulled his arm!). The car that Mel Gibson is revenge in time (a Ford coupe Aussie) seemed threatening as a car can! built for the filming of U.S. $ 35 Grand, a replica was used for the final crash 'n burn scenes from Mad Max 2. The original vehicle was recovered and is still around somewhere, appearing in car shows in the late 80's. |
| Before Babe and Happy Feet, George Miller gave us characters who were just weird. Loud explosions, assassinations, naked breasts - all 70 credits to grind house fare. Out of that mess came Mel Gibson. This was his second movie, and it noted. A star on the screen, a disorder in his personal life. Love or hate him, he has given us hours of enjoyment in the cinema and on DVD. Miller, the Mad Max movie features brilliant editing, sound, an excellent score, and some great acting by Hugh Keays-Byrne as Toecutter. A pleasant journey in time. |
