| The high-tech digital does not make good movie. This is not the budget of "Lord of the Rings" however, is a very well seen the DVD movie 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea for the whole family. Personally I liked and the rest of my family, too. I also recommend others to see it. Lorenzo Lamas and Sean Lawlor play very well. They are really great players. The story is based on Jules Verne's classic tale of adventure with a modern view.I have seen some bad movies and I can not recognize when a DVD film 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea is good and when it's bad. And this is a good insurance. And has it all ... adventure, pleasant plot, suspense, action, actors and more pleasant what happened I want a good night? |
| Well, I do not expect anything close to previous versions of Jules Verne's adventure. Apart from the title and the recycling of names, this "updated" story is a total disappointment. Contributed history, dialogue horrible, horrible plot, and even worse acting. This is a dog fish if ever there was one. Pity that could have done more with this premise only if you had tried. It's like a bad episode of Deep Space Nine, only torture and making sense. I gave it 3 stars pity. Do not waste your time with this. The best description of this is met Dr. Strangelove Coustou Jaques, only without any humor or DVD movie 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea of one of them. |
| I would like to have a difficult time choosing which is worse, the action or issue. Just jumped from one scene to another, sometimes without explaining what happened. I did not expect great performance, due to the origin of the film, but I expected more from this. How bad is the acting? Lorenzo Lamas was one of the best players. That's bad. This debate gives me a 2 or a 3 rating. I gave him a 3, because the idea behind the DVD film 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea was not terribly bad, and the effects are not bad for a name for the TV movie. You can view it on a Sunday afternoon, if you have a cool head, you can not get off the couch, and too sick to change the channel or find a DVD. Apart from that, I would really try to avoid altogether. |
