Luc Besson "The Professional" is a sort of companion piece to his international breakthrough hit "La Femme Nikiti", and in many ways a DivX Movie Leon (Professional, The) is even better. This raises the game of women's Besson fun-with-guns theme making heroin aged 12, played by a then unknown Natalie Portman. Jean Reno is excellent as the murderer of his coach and surrogate parent. Oldman is completely over the top in one of his best roles in bad man, obsessed with Beethoven and carnage. As a gritty, suspenseful thriller, the DivX film Leon (Professional, The) does not leave the fans feeling cheated action, but the film: Leon (Professional, The) is much more than that. At the heart of "The Professional" is a wonderful father and his daughter-like relationship between two strangers who find solace damaged itself. |
All I can say is wow. This DVD movie Leon (Professional, The) was fantastic. Because not much time, I'm going to do this quickly. Gary Oldman is the perfect bad guy, and works well, and Jean Reno does a wonderful job of making the character of the transition from no more love, to fall in love with a girl who brought his feeling back. That girl is Natalie Portman, wow she was young. It also does well, although it contains the only fault in the movie, and it is not really her, is the character. I know the character of Portman is supposed to be persistent, but it was kind of annoyed with it, but the act by Portman redeems the character anyway. Besson's story is big considering other action movies, and the direction was so well done. Summary: A CLOSE TO ACTION ON THE MOVE THROUGH THE PERFECT, fantastic direction and a script that IS GREAT ... in competition with other Action scripts .... The "You do not like Beethoven, huh?" is the best line of the DVD movie Leon (Professional, The) said by Oldman, boy was chilling. |
"... If a person does not care about him." What really highlights for me (aside from the excellent leadership of the action sequences) is too brilliant for its own good script. Oldman, Reno, Portman and deliver lines that seem ridiculous if it were spoken by fewer performers. Oldman chews the scenery especially in a manner that is both fun and utterly threatening. I wonder if his obsession with Beethoven is a nod to the ultra-violent Alex from A Clockwork Orange? The American version ( "The Professional") was the first version I saw. I originally had no real intention of seeing it because I like to read a review quite wild likening it to child pornography. It is obvious that this reviewer had his head firmly planted in his back. I am surprised he could find the room so with great stick on the way. Anyway, once they finally saw "Leon" for me - thanks to my grandfather cinemaphile - I did not see such a thing. This is not obscenity, is love. Leon has no interest in sexual Matilda, but as a loving father would love a daughter. If you have an option to then go to the longer Director's Cut. You get about 15 more minutes of Leon (Professional, The) Action film - and not just filler. These are truly scenes that expand the story. My only complaint is about the almost total by the use of completely underestimated Danny Aiello, Oldman and dimensions of the only evil. |
When I saw this DivX Movie Leon (Professional, The) for the first time on TBS that captivated me. How could a murderer excellent befriend a little girl wafe as Mathilda? And even more so how is it possible to love a vicious murderer? In fact, seeing the whole length Uncut International Version (full version) many times, I feel that I have come to understand the plight of the Lion, and the love he feels for the child who takes in. Leon - The Professional is beautiful. The film, in its gritty, dark back room kind of feel that moves him. Its almost like seeing a baby born, as you can see the two main characters (Mathilda and Leon) who almost reborn in the world with something that I have never experienced before: the love binding. This sounds Sappy, and frankly if I had read this might think that this is an unfortunate cliché. It is not. Take, for what it is - a beautiful, moving film. Unable to comprehend their depth until they experience in their entirety. |
