| Some artistic license was taken in this film, but if that can happen (which should not be hard to do, most stories are produced) is that it is a memorable film. Having seen little Dieter needs to fly the documentary on which this Rescue Dawn War film I was not surprised or kept in very often, but I still think we all gave a good performance. It felt a little strange to see Steve Zahn in a paper, I believe him to be more of a comedian and I do not think he stood and performance wise if analyzed together with Bale. Jeremy Davies a disservice to lose even more weight to play with other POW Bale and carrying their traditional game of cowards (which was also the silly Saving Private Ryan / coward). The basic argument is Dieter accidents during Vietnam, and put in a POW camp in Laos. Then, plots his escape. It really is a miraculous true story, and well worth a listen. The real Dieter an optimistic person and fascinating. |
