This sequel to the first Hot Shots! the movie: Hot Shots! Part Deux has a different this time: no sense, Rambo-style action movies. Topper Harley (Charlie Sheen) is doing some work for the monks in the far east, and has been hired to lead a rescue mission in the Persian Gulf. For some reason, after seeing both this and the first Hot Shots! Part Deux movie on Sunday, I really enjoyed this one more (perhaps because I have not seen a few times). The goal is certainly worthy of some lampooning, and the cast is a pleasure to see again. Lloyd Bridges is, once again, hilarious as "Tug" Benson, who, despite being clearly a kind of idiot, he managed to get elected President of the United States. Trivia note: Ryan Stiles, who plays "Lewis" in the Drew Carey Show "and is a regular in the comedy series who improved Line Is it Anyway? Rabinowitz plays in this film, and was also the first film, playing the ominous "Mailman" Farnham. You never know who will pop up where. I gave him eight out of ten. |
While the original will always be considered better, the Hot Shots! Part Deux film still reflects the mentality of Hot Shots. While the concept may have been dragged a little, at least not try to make another Hot Shots! Part Deux Action to destroy this franchise. Charlie Sheen was once again, Charlie Sheen. In another ironic performance, shows that Sheen was one of the most nonchalant comedy actor today. Much fun to talk about things, but too many to mention. |
Well, suppose that the son of an ultra-liberal Martin Sheen will end like his dad is no surprise. Here, Charlie and his character, "Harley Toppr" make fun of the President of the United States. (This was when George Bush senior was in office. These Cheap shots against the U.S. mysteriously stopped Liberal leader when he took over the rest of the decade.). However, the idea here is that the president look as stupid as possible. Throw in a lot of blasphemy and anti-Christian bigotry that today another PC comedy intolerant. If this were a newspaper instead of a disk, I used to cage droppings. Is pure rubbish. In fact, only one (out of hundreds, perhaps thousands) of Liberals excuse cheap shots against anything of value. There are too many things thrown at the viewer with too little time to digest them. Parodies are great, but to give viewers a second to appreciate his humor. Unable to succeed us in the head with a "gag" every five seconds, especially when most of them are from the "bath" variety. As I said, garbage. |
Knucklehead great movie! Who cares what critics think, stupid? This DVD film Hot Shots! Part Deux is the funniest Hot Shots! Part Deux Action movie he had ever seen! I am sure I missed most of the jokes because I was laughing so hard he had tears in my eyes. My brother had a stomach ache all night because he laughed through the whole way without stopping. Not only is the main argument fun, but so are small jokes in the background. Do not make it a point and follow along as if the general's plane fell, and then hit his head on the engine, like nothing happened. Charlie Sheen is at the top of your game! |
If you liked the original, a parody-rama, "Air", or any of Abrahams' slampooning film: Hot Shots! Part Deux "Police Squad" to "Naked Gun", you as a "Hot Shots: Part Deux" with Sheen as Rambo knock off GUNNING by Saddam Hussein. There is never a dull moment in this joke to a second blow that takes bits and pieces of "Apocalypse Now" to "Star Wars" and beyond in their rubbish without fuss. You must see for fans false do not mind putting your brain on hold for 90 minutes slaphappy absurd. (B) |
It is amazing how much this Hot Shots! Part Deux film is fresher and play compared to most other parody of the 90s. It is a reminder (which may be necessary after seeing films like "Dracula: Dead and Loving It") that any gender can work with the amount of effort put into it. Perhaps it has a few duds here and there, but there is much more surreal gems along the way ( "Geronimoooo". "Geronimoooo". "Meeeee!"). One of the best in its class. (***) |
