Connor Macleod was born in 1518 in the Highlands of Scotland. Ramirez teaches Macleod the ways of the sword, until Ramirez is tragically killed by Connor's ultimate opponent, the evil Kurgan, a murderous immortal brute who lusts for the ultimate power of the immortals, 'The Prize'; enough power to rule the earth forever. Connor fights his way through the centuries, until the time of the Gathering, when the few immortals who have survived the endless battles come together to fight until only one remains, and that winner will receive The Prize. The time: 1985. The place: New York City. The final fight is about to begin, and in the end, there can be only one.

The original was an excellent movie. The flashbacks, action, music and, of course, history itself ... everything's great for the hearing. The sequels to complete and utter nonsense. I'm happy that I can separate the aftermath of the original in my mind. However, they were so bad that this implies a certain degree of mental discipline. Fortunately, I meditate on a regular basis and I am very skilled in certain blocking out traumatic memories. As far as I'm concerned the story begins and ends with the original. If you're thinking of seeing the aftermath please do not do himself. Do not inflict your memory of the original Highlander movie of this potentially fatal wound. Watch Highlander and take it for what it is.

As in "the first is a classic and the consequences are horrific." It is curious because the Highlander Action movie is set in so many different times, but this is, for some strange reason, my favorite film-80. There is something fascinating about the combination of the soundtrack of the Queen, the 80 players (Lambert, Brown) and the type of high quality which has 80. In my opinion, Christopher Lambert is one of the most underrated players of all time. Just look at his performance on stage in your library with the women's love and interest of the dagger, for example. And the strange accent .. Whoa! Do not listen if someone says it is just another magic sword-action-film, this is also one of the best Sean Connery movies.
