First, it is important to note that this movie is not really all that good. He's funny but has no real value, the story is less, and "Hacking" is shown in the movie is not realistic. Now that that's the way, let me say that I absolutely love this movie. It was presented to me in middle school, and the hardcore style that describes how the team under the culture is charming. I'm in college (specializing in film no less) now, and still see this picture about once a month. Visually, the movie is fantastic, especially in terms of costume design. The characters are, for lack of a better word, very well. I want to be them. None of them. All of them at once. The film has that kind of magnetism and charm. I'd recommend seeing this movie with as many grains of salt whose practical because of the brightness fades close, but when you see with your gut feelings as his guide, is unbeatable.

This film came out during my first year of high school, almost everyone who saw me knew that he had a blast watching, and in fact I saw several times in the theater (a companion saw him around 6 times I think). While the computer screens shows are not realistic to speak (I will get to that in a moment) is fascinating and exciting once more computers, but also does not hurt that the whole world I knew that use Mac as well as hackers in the movie, so you can imagine, that inspired many of us to see if it had the potential to do something similar, but ultimately gave up (appears on a few CD -ROM games was much more entertaining ;;)). In any case, now I own the film on DVD and I think I have come to a revelation about the computer screens shown in the movie ... what we see is not what is actually happening on screen, which is showing us is what the hackers are doing, as displayed in his mind, that the data image on the screen of a way to the head where it comes from together, and what we see is that the image in your head, if perhaps only an improvement of the image ... anyway, I thought you had to share. Oh, and it is not funny to see computer geeks drooling over a laptop with a 28.8 modem?::)

First, this movie was a wild ride all the way. The history of the formation of the soldiers, fighting with his superiors, and the final group. From start to finish. This is a war drama worth seeing if you are in constant cussing (sometimes beyond reason) and the horrors of what is Boot Camp. The dynamic interaction of the players was quite amazing sometimes, and sometimes humorous. How Bozzo (Colin Farrell) refers to Paxton (Matthew Davis) throughout history, from the camp to Tigerland, and even in helping to end it. The innovative free-hand shooting did not add a certain taste or flavor to the movie. Constant motion, constant action and only constant confusion. Sometimes, it is a help. Others, not so much. Throughout the film, is becoming more realistic. Some points in the movie (the scenes of sex in particular) seems to be just a little too realistic even though it adds an effect to the movie that would have been without them. is a very gritty film, through and through. In my opinion, this is one of Colin Farrel best movies (if not its superior performance). The act of each character was excellent. 9 / 10-sysnuk3r

War drama that takes place in Louisiana in 1971. It follows a group of recruits through basic training, and then Tigerland - an accurate picture of Vietnam on American soil, before they were sent over. It focuses on two men - Boaz (Colin Farrell) and Paxton (Matthew Davis) ... Describe how they meet, become friends and face a squadron leader corwardly (Clifton Collins Jr.) and a limit of psycho (Shea Wingham). A surprising non-commercial film directed by Joel Schumacher. He uses a handheld camera for most of the film and use digital video for the fight scenes. It works very well - the film is gritty (and should) and uncomfortably realistic. Farrell covered with success and his Irish Brogan takes a very convincing southern accent. His performance is simply superb - which is a very talented young man. Davis, unfortunately, is not good. He is tall, muscular, very handsome - and very soft. The rest of the cast, however, is simply great. This film was pulled by his study. It has no stars in it, a family history and was considered "just another war movie." It not only plays a week in Boston! It is well worth it captured on video or DVD. In addition, Farrell and Davis have a long nude scene.

Although it was filmed in Florida, site of the National Guard, "Tigerland" totally reminded me of Fort Polk, Louisiana., Firing ranges, areas of maneuver, the waist deep water and all. The film is quite real and characters similar to them in my AIT in 1974. Tigerland the difference between the year 1971, and mine is 1974 all the drill sergeants and instructors knew they were not going back to Vietnam, as it did almost everything, so that training was very relaxed - not a challenge to all. That was the precursor of all our problems in the 70s and 80s, which I know for a fact as I stayed until 2004. I've never heard anybody talk about "Tigerland", but the Army does not have realistic training Vietnam villages in different bases of the U.S. Vietnam Vets tell me that until 1972 basic and AIT could be quite rough and rugged, because the instructors had been there and they were entrusted Vietnam to train the men subject to the powers to do so, although it was not always the case . Both a sergeant in Polk and later one of my Vietnam Vet NCOs, when it had become instructors in a brigade of basic training at Fort Bliss, told me that there was nothing they could make to someone ready and people had to know and the figure for themselves. This film rates high.

Producer Joel Schumacher, who also directed "phone booth",'02, and many other great films show in great detail how a person can not really be trained to be a killing machine without destroying its own personality and true fear that a person has to face when going into battle! Colin Farrell (Roland Bozzo), "Intermission",'03, gave one of his best performances, and in fact carries this whole picture on his back. Matthew Davis (Jim Paxton), "Blue Crush",'02, took a major supporting role and Shea Whigham (Pvt.Wilson), "All The Real Girls",'03, he showed his true ability to act the role that played. There were two brief scenes where the soldiers were able to find some hot romance in a brief leave in the local town and had to pay for their love and sexual desires. An instructor's Army of Vietnam Veterans told the soldiers how to really torture enemy through the use of electric cables in all the wrong places in a male human body. Pleasant and entertaining movie to see.

This film was spectacular. Many people are confused and the fact that it is heavily driven by dialogue rather than kill box offices across America. If you do not like hearing about ideas about our existence, you will not like this movie. It's a satire but that does not prevent you from obtaining items through existentialism. If you saw Garden State and loved it, not only for the great love story, but also for ideas as "Home is nothing more than a group of people looking for all the same piece of happiness." This film is until his alley. I am a student of philosophy and, therefore, I found this film hilarious. "We're not in infinity, we are in the suburbs!" Classic. I'm going to buy this movie the day it comes out.

It is a breath of fresh air to find a film so original. Some may be turned off by the film and, possibly, it seems pretentious but it's not. It was pokes fun of existentialism a bit while you think about it realistically. The film does not make me laugh out loud as much as other comedies, but I had a smile on my face the whole time watching it. If you do not take it too seriously and get the humor that really enjoy it. He had a smile on my face all the time. The comic moment of all principal cast is the right goal. Definitely recommend it. Not only is fun, but it does make you think a little while is not pretentious. Russell hit it dead on one with the present.

Wow. I left the theater in a loss for words. What the hell? What I saw was one of the best films this year. I do not even know where to start in describing it. I laughed a lot throughout the subtle humor and timing, and placement. The acting by all the cast is spectacular. This film is not for everyone, and probably only a very small group of people because the elitist snobs who bash for the simplification and "Hollywood-operation" philosophy too, and the average Joe complain that their strange and too boring to understand. The thing is that with this film, which is good or not. Simple as that. I finally "got", and I'm thankful I did because it was an incredible journey.

For anyone who is looking for a comedy of art that is the one for you. However, I suggest taking a course in philosophy intro before you see this, because it will make it more pleasant wildly. The story is about an environmentalist / poet, Albert, who is struggling to maintain its "open spaces" non-corporate coalition. He seeks the help of existential detectives (Lily Tomlin, Dustin Hoffman), a married couple who seem to be out to lunch, but they really are very well educated, wise people seem to understand that everything (almost as Dumbledore figures for fans of Harry Potter). At first Alberts problems seem to make worse, but in the end Albert discovers a deeper understanding toward life. This film focuses on a lot of problems in the U.S. (though sometimes subtle, has a lot of true information), the use of oil, along the religious families who brainwash their children to believe everything that is fine, companies that are only interested in profits, and the idea of happiness in front of an image of success. I recommend to all and if you do not enjoy it, you probably do not understand it, so it also warned that viewers ignorant conservative. This is probably my favorite movie, and I hope yours too. (Sorry I am not the best writer)

"I Heart Huckabees" is a mess. It's silly, obvious, flamboyant, self-congratulatory, candy, and very funny. In fact, it's a bit difficult to explain its charm. You see the wheels turning, but you do not care - that is done in a way so that child is almost offensive. It also has a game cast. I can not stand Jason Schwartzman ( "Rushmore" and "store"), but not ruin the movie for me. Old pros Dustin Hoffman and Lily Tomlin steal the bulk of the film, but new film deities Jude Law, Naomi Watts and Mark Wahlberg are fun to watch. They all seem to be enjoying their respective roles. The story alone basis of this film is simple and has been repeated countless times in various forms. However, it is extremely smart and funny script that makes this a very good movie. I recommend it. While not a total departure of Woody, is certainly an enjoyable film that pays tribute to another era of cinema in many ways.

Comedy set in 1940 about an insurance investigator (Woody Allen) lock horns with an efficiency expert (Helen Hunt), while a string of robberies of jewelry suspicious happens. Only half Allen comedy ... but that is still 70% better than the typical Hollywood movie. It's fairly well acted ... Allen is, frankly, too old for this (it's 65 and he's doing women in their 20s and 30s? Please!), But gives a good performance; Hunt is simply wonderful ... She looks great in the 40s suits and his verbal sparring with Allen was hilarious; Charlize Theron is fantastic, but it is embarrassingly lost and (in a huge surprise) Elizabeth Berkeley really gives a decent performance midway! The script is fine if a little unbelievable. And the film looks fantastic ... costumes and sets really evoke the 1940s. Therefore, okay, but no great shakes.

"The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" is a romantic comedy / crime / mystery set in New York City in the 1940s, implying a love-hate relationship between a veteran insurance investigator CW Briggs (Woody Allen) and its new chief Betty Ann Fitzgerald (Helen Hunt). One night, while watching the show's magician with the rest of the employees, who are both hypnotized by an incident with a hypnotist Jade Scorpion then used in the theft of jewelry, unknowingly to him. Was this comedy written and directed by someone else who has been a disaster, but Allen with his touch of magic, has produced a witty and charming delight. That is what my husband called him after we enjoyed together and I can not agree more. I love the music of Ellington, around the 40th establishment, and a line of Woody. His face in the scene where he and Helen Hunt were hypnotized is simply hilarious - the kind you know how to do physical comedy to perfection. I do not care if this image has been called "a minor Allen of the film - is still much better than most comedies coming out each year. Even "minor Allen" is enjoyable and memorable.

The Curse of the Jade Scorpion is worth hearing if you enjoy Woody Allen work, but it's best to do movies. The romance is not very credible in the present, but the characters are well developed. This film has a good premise involving stolen jewels, 1940 of gender roles, and hypnosis. The absence of surprising twists that could deal with in a movie about a man investigating a theft of jewels, the script even resolves its subplots in a way that viewers might guess. This film also does not generate as many laughs as Woody better job. Woody has some good lines, but that's all. Helen Hunt has a good job of playing Woody nemesis of the workplace. However, several of his scenes with his late Woody saying how the dreams of his death. (Example: "Try not to suffer a massive coronary at his way home.") This string of jokes is real old real fast. However, none of the film really drags. The plot moves at a good pace, and seeing things develop is welcome. The story is simple, but it works. And this movie is more creative than the average movie that became a reality in the 1940s. And I like the way the script briefly reviewed the roles of women in the 1940s in light of an appreciation for modern (and understanding) women. In conclusion, this movie is worth seeing if you've found Woody's Greatest Hits.

If this movie had released 20 years ago, it would probably deserves a higher rating. What you get to see this is a well-produced, well written, though very little original film carries the most part by Woody Allen and his dialogue, not to mention the rest of the cast. Problem is that it is actually not the original that was mentioned earlier, and that ll be quite familiar with everything that happens during the movie. The only difference would be funny some circumstances. The end is rather anticlimactic and very disappointing that the villain falls so easily without him or the police doing nothing at all. This film is perhaps worth seeing once on television but I'm not too sure whether to spend money on it in the movies.

The most remarkable aspect of this movie is the enormous audience that you can enjoy it. People of different ages and cultural backgrounds will have a good time watching it. Even people who normally do not like Woody Allen will enjoy also, because of the optimistic comedy style in which the film is based. Fun and upbeat.

Recalling my own childhood proof of the existence of the tooth fairy in secret by putting a baby tooth under my pillow and did not find it replaced by money in the morning, I hope that the title of this new film "Tooth" is not stopped dentist Phobos-of themselves and taking their children to see this irreverent and very funny film about the battle between good and evil, social class, industrial and efficiency in the interface between the real world and the magical world. Well so when my little cousin said I want to see the film "Tooth" a cold shiver ran for my spine. Arrgghh no other film of the children! So we went out and me and the two bratts. I'd like to read the reviews and was ready for a dream 90 minutes in a nice air-conditioned cinema, but not quite happen. To my surprise I sat down and started to see and you know what, I really enjoyed it. It was not what I expected. The characters are extravagant (but was later corrected and told that they were 'cool') and compressed along the history. Displaying mourn Vinnie Jones was a bonus and children who are really seemed real for a change. Would I recommend going to see it? I hate to admit it, but it was fun. I suppose that I'll get to sleep in the next one!

It is based on a true disappearance, I think the movie did justice to the mystery of the 1700s. For an independent film, there was a lot less gore than most scary movies and that is to be commended for that. Expansion of history to solve the mystery may have been too ambitious a project for the director. However, I believe that the bittersweet ending that has been well thought out and executed well. I think the fear that the descendant Keyes found that have been studied more in the script, but perhaps the explanation that was left on the editing floor. However, I felt it was a worthy attempt to solve a centuries-old mystery in a way that, sadly, sadly still occurs in this day and age.

I just saw this movie on a cable Reprise, home alone, and it seems that I have to talk about the film. There is nobody at home and finished writing to IMDb ... For almost an hour nothing seems to happen in the film. It sometimes seems that writers are not sure about the story they're trying to say. Acting sick children, to confuse the plot, a mess. The script makes no sense. The secondary plots are uninteresting and unconvincing. And I'm sure there I spent time listening to many people to call Lucy, present or past Lucy. Endless. Useless. The end is absurd. And I would like to ask the bad guys from the movie (or screenwriter) why the hell they and their ancestors were able to maintain a letter from the author confessing to the crime and the original map of the land for 250 years. Only if a ghost who may need?

I caught this movie last night and was very pleasantly surprised. Other reviewers have covered the basic plot, so I will not bother here. I must say that I was most impressed by the girl who played Lucy contemporary. Tot who can act! It was nice not cutesy, and solid without being wooden or robotic, as some children may be involved. It was fun to see Jamie Donnelly into the screen again. Although it has changed somewhat since his fat days, the voice and eyes remain the same. Living in a small (population 3000) the city to myself, I found myself chuckling about the cliche and not "town eccentric" character Donnelly played and think to myself, "Why, of course, a city of eccentric!" But his character is central to the plot and that proved to be more than what was expected. I recommend this movie for those who want a thread without fear all the slash-and-gore contemporary filmmakers seem to think all the ghost stories must have. It has some bloody moments, but compared to most of "Let's break up people" movies being made today, which is not too bad.

John Stimpson has woven a tale of suspense by a local legend and historical documents important to keep you on the edge of your seat. Taking place in rural New England town, which has the advantage of local color and scenery to make even the legend seems very real. Merger with modern technology pre-Revolutionary War scenes, that keeps you guessing. Even when you think you have figured out, resulting in the curve of another building and the unexpected climax. The cinematography is spectacular. You owe it to yourself to see this. Keep the great work of John, and looks forward to his next adventure.

I saw the film at the Sonoma Film Festival, and I recommend it highly. This is a very efficient and pleasant combination of two genres: the adaptation of a true story and a thriller at the same time. It was not as scared as a Chucky movie, but very afraid for me. The limited development of New England and the real tristeza colonial history of the family - perhaps especially poignant if you are a parent - has created a feeling that it has pursued stuck with me ever since. Delpy and Theroux turned in excellent performances, and Cassidy Hinkle took his role as Lucy in a way that few actors can child. I know that the film has received attention for its use of high-definition video instead of film. As someone who does not follow the technology of film, I did not notice this either way - which is perhaps a good thing. See if you can.

This film is an intriguing story of an old legend of New England. Anyone who likes a spine chilling ghost story of love this movie. John Stimpson does a great job juxtaposing the family life of a 21st century a family with 250 years of history of folklore. Having lived my whole life in New England that could relate to the telling and the retelling of old stories and how they become part of the fabric of a small town. The symmetry between Lucy Keyes, who disappeared in 1755, and today that Lucy has been moved to the countryside with his family is brilliant. I am not going to the final, but the symmetry gathers itself as the movie continues. And the eccentric character of Caswell is in line with the excellent small-town setting. You can enjoy this movie!

The style of the film and its original, peculiar subplots that lifted well above the ordinary.

This film is based on a simple fact: Do you or do you not only enjoy Will Ferrel? If the answer is yes, then you will enjoy this a lot. Because there is not much new here doing: Ferell is like another idiot, self-loving, strong and led by beef, thin professionals ready ... inserting obscure profession or athlete. This is only "Anchorman", "Ricky Bobby," "Blades of Glory", or whatever you save in basketball. If you love movies, and Will Ferrel the blatant Antics (I'm not saying that's wrong, I'm saying I want to see you try something else now and then) and then here's one for you. But they also give prestige to the players (like Woody Harrelson, who in a stroke of brilliance, is acting as if in a drama, not an actual travesty), the inspiration 70s soundtracks and references. 6 / 10

This film is a perfect example of why Ferrel has to find its purpose fast before he becomes irrelevant. After sitting through this movie, I started to think about why I did not like it. Ferrel had all the-isms of the previous films. Ron Burgandy, Chad Michael Michaels, Ricky Bobby, and so made an appearance. So, why was not a classic formula so miserably here? And then hit me. Will Ferrel is because they can not carry a film on his own. He is a great catalyst for action in a movie, however can not be a movie. True, Ron Burgandy is a hilarious, but what about news of his crew? How many lines are quoted from this quartet of idiots? Or Chad Michael Michaels? Ferrel to remember his strength is a solid comedy series. While it has shown some real acting talent, it still will never be able to make a film on his own.

One. I counted. Is the line about how the team is doing a terrible job of stabilization Jackie Moon's neck when he was carried off the court. A laugh. Not even a big laugh. A small laugh. Had it been a long six seconds of film, and had been the only line, it would have been a great success. It is almost impossible to make a film of this unfunny, even if only one person involved with the creative material, whether an actor, a writer, anyone-hand. But nobody is trying, everyone just wanted their salaries. I hope that the cast spent on liquor and drugs enough to bury the guilt of having sold their souls. I hate this movie. I hate those people who did this pile steam and put into theaters, and released on DVD, and sold it to people. It shows real by the audience. And I will tell you what you already, the feeling mutual.

Despite their taste of New Orleans, an honest performance by Alec Baldwin and enjoyable turns by Eric Roberts and Teri Hatcher (whose role as a seductive femme fatal fits her like a glove, she should try more often), this Late payment of action / crime movie is generic and unremarkable. If you run across this movie at the video store, do not be fooled by the "name" cast and move well. Highlight: hunting through the halfway stage. (**)

Nearly remake of "The Big Easy", with very similar plot. The former police detective, allegedly launched by the force of excessive violence, becomes involved in the criminal underworld machinations with his old childhood friend. Some of New Orleans ambience, but not enough to dyed-in-the-wool fans. Essentially, slightly above average action movie with not much violence and too many surprises in the plot.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, despite the awkward scene of plane crash. Never doubt Baldwin was an ex-police and I think this may be his best film yet. Joanou direction was high, it is nice to see a film taking place in the south, where the actors are sweating and you can almost feel the humidity comes from the screen. Hatcher went well, I think people like this over his naked scene than anything else. I give this an 8.

It's not exactly true to the book, but the film certainly offers a pleasant as a thriller. Alec Baldwin is excellent as Robicheaux, Lynch, Masterson and Hatcher are quite pretty and give the film what it takes, but are mostly forgotten as the film progresses. Roberts indicated that it has a lot of talent to offer when it comes to a juicy part of this type. The film is full of action, but fortunately has a series of long and exciting action sequences. I think that Baldwin is becoming something of thought Mans hero of action. While Willis is the off doing stupid actioners Baldwin achieves intelligent film. This is a good example, as is The Edge. Baldwin makes this incredibly funny movie and the actors help a bit, but Baldwin gets to keep the whole thing so unique.

Great work by the cast - not so great when it comes to writing. Sky of inmates lack a couple of key elements in the script and the movie suffered as a result. Once again, Kelly Lynch did a fantastic job and massive use of the screen time is limited. Baldwin was not so bad either. This is probably one of his best performances in conjunction with The Hunt for Red October. Teri Hatcher was HOT. In general terms - the sky of the prisoners is the rental value - if only to check the hard work of a talented, if not successful, cast.

Excellent movie. I was caught by surprise on TV, never heard of it. Very well done, all excellent players. Violent and the slow but good enough to go deep. Interesting history and the atmosphere in Louisiana. Knowing that Alec Baldwin is from Long Island who thought the emphasis has been done well enough to be convincing. I agree with the comment from someone on the DEA agent / friend. His character could have been more established, but no real damage. I really got into this movie.

A gentleman (in France, I will not hold that against him), wrote a commentary on the ironies and the callousness of the characters in the FMJ. I would like to politely disagree with him on several points. As a former Marine myself, I went through Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC, where they are taught to be murderers. I was lucky to never have to do it. In 1998, was sent to Japan as an electronics technician with an aviation unit, and before his deployment, my squadron received several hundreds of hours in Japanese history, culture and tradition, in addition to the necessary safety, security and terrorism writings that occur when the deployment of a foreign nation. The process is the same when I was deployed in Saudi Arabia in 2000. As for the Mickey Mouse, in the end, they were not cruel (as a group, individuals are another story) but the battle is shown in the film is Hue (pronounced SERUM) City, and one of the bloodiest of the war, and everyone trying to remember a happier, simpler time in their lives. I have been through training that Joker, Cowboy, Sno-Ball and Gomer Pyle went through, and I would like to think that I became a better man because of it.

I was a Marine at Parris Island in 1977 and I can say without a doubt this film is very accurate in all material respects the right to blanket party scene. The base is used in England is very much like Parris Island, to the mill and barracks in the background. The part where they are running on the road with Joker carrying Pyle seems that the path to Elliots Beach. The cadence is true to life, as well as Senior Drill Instructor Hartmans dialect, all the comments that I can say 100% that I have heard on the island and were used in me. For a person who was there that I had been deceived, but the O-course and rifle range are completely different in design and appearance. The interior of the barracks and head are identical to the real thing. For anyone seeing this movie trust me that you are not going to be closer to Parris Island and I would say that the "jute" that saw. With respect to the segment in the country is quite real as the photos I saw in the USMC training films.

Since the first time I saw this movie when I was 7 years old could not stop it, I've never films such as children's films or cartoons, for some reason, during my childhood ID spend my time watching the war and science fiction movies, My favorite movies are war and Das Boot Full Metal Jacket, I've seen those movies when I was about 6 or 7 years and I was impressed with the leadership and action, Full Metal Jacket shows the reality of War and what we really are human beings and who we are and what we can do and meaningful, this is Stanley Kubrick at his best! If you think Saving Private Ryan, The Thin Red Line or bunch of war movies are good?, You are wrong! just saw this movie and you'll see why its the best war movie ever! a complete masterpiece, 10-10.

As I have already seen this movie great Frank Whaley, I found myself more and more, an examination of crime in general. Certainly, there are more than a few people who think that convicts are born bad and must do the maximum. However, this film shows in which conditions are criminals and you know what it is not always their fault. I know this sounds like liberal claptrap, but I think it's true. In this movie, we see a young man who literally has nothing. An abusive, alcoholic father who is rarely around, unless he is there to sniff around him. A mother can not manage their own affairs, much less someone. "A strange brother who, in general, only thinks about himself. Then we have our main character who tries to make a go of it and along with them. He is good and careful, but he is too young for the whole world. The family is destitute and the union will never be the force that must be for the betterment of our main character of life.. Our character is uneducated and abandoned to their fate on their own, which inevitably turns to crime. fascinating film that could not break. Highly recommended.

I came across this movie almost by accident. I tend to look at the IMDB for other film actors and actresses whose performances I enjoyed. So he saw the promise of Noah Fleiss, as shown in Josh and SAM, flower to the ripe fruit on their actions in this wonderful film. Joe is a young man who lives in poverty and deprived of love. He is brutalised and humiliated by his teacher and his father drunk. Only in favor of his brother, Mike, and just as a love-starved friend, and, finally, a counselor in question (Ethan Hawke) lend him any support. Surprisingly Joe is totally disinterested and, after having slaved to earn money just to survive and to improve the lives of those close to him, he is gradually driven more and more crime. I saw this movie with two friends and the three of us are so captivated by this poignant story that none of us moved or uttered a word until long after the credits have finished rolling. When the silence was broken with the words "Wow! How was that?" Remember the name, Noah Fleiss, because he is destined to be a star.

unsentimental - realistically - terribly sad .. I am surprised that Whaley has not been given more opportunities to write and direct .. there has been a lot of excellent movies being made by actors such as weakness by Bill Paxton, in the bedroom by todd fields and JOE THE KING .. actors seem to have a great deal about how characters in credible and capable of transferring this knowledge as directors .. In any case, this movie shows us the terrible consequences of the negligent / abusive parents .. it also shows the consequences of an irony-informed actions .. Well, I think that this kind of movie is ready to be examined ... Break point is a good classic 90's action movie. Here you'll find an average direction, a rule of the 90 soundtrack, good acting (excellent cast) and fun action. So why vote this high? Well, this film the life of a very pleasant and typical plot of 90 environments that you will not find in the latest film. I mean, I saw this movie with a smile on my face, maybe I'm too nostalgic ... If you are too young to see when this movie came out and that sometimes you wonder "what kind of movie that I've seen where they were born 10 years before?" (I do not know if it's the right consecutio :-)), Break point is for you.

A rash of quick-organized bank of jobs in California causes a rookie Fed (named Johnny Utah!) At beaches like a surfer in disguise to ferret-curl shots criminals. A script is asinine, at least, was associated with an inherently exciting director (Kathryn Bigelow), which receives the pumping action, even when the material is untrue. Keanu Reeves is alternately gentle and more anxious as the agent who befriends surf guru Patrick Swayze, however, both the management of the players not to embarrass themselves (which are cartoonish instead of wood, which is surprising taking into mind these are not characters are cliches of the writer). Bigelow Director should be attracted to films with desktop hard blow sergeants who do nothing but down on their subordinates (the feds in this movie are so ridiculous as to the police in "Blue Steel"), and she is not the kind to One of the main women in the cast (Lori Petty, whose Sass initially substitutes for a character - until you became a victim). The films are like gangs. People gather - perhaps not even the greatest musicians individually - but together, mesh and something to do great music. It takes more than great musicians to make a great band. Thus, some movies, no matter how much money, talent, and horsepower is exercised, not just join. Others, like the rest, they come together with an ineffable "rightness" that defies any party, logic, or analysis. This is one of my favorite movies. Period. Everything works. " This movie rocks.

I browsed this website for many years, but it was only after yesterday I felt like writing a comment for this movie, after seeing on TV for the first time ... Almost 17 years after its release! Being only 20, is really nice sometimes to find a "major" I like the movies, and I am sure that in 10 years or more, this film will still be able to maintain their ground, as the plot despite being rather impossible, it is more credible. I do not expect to enjoy the movie because the story does not really appeal to me at first, especially not surf the parties, but as soon as I started to see the mix of Keanu Reeves, comedy and fast action , I do not even want to leave the couch. The film has a very good plot that is very different from the typical FBI / detective films of today. Definitely, I would like to see this movie again if given the chance.

I like this movie. I really can not go into too much why, but I can tell you that every time I see this film that is cable if I'm at home. I think it's worth a couple of hours of their day. First, it comes out as kind of Hokey, but somehow ends up becoming very absorbent. Keanu Reeves gives us a good indication of what lies ahead in your career as this movie was released before the speed and Matrix. Patrick Swayze gives us a good yield as little surfing zen Bodhi. The surf scenes are well done and so are the bank robbery of parts. Kathryn Bigelow does a good job directing this and the rest of the cast, especially Gary Busey, to turn in solid performances. Note the persecution scene with Keanu Reeves goes after a masked Ronald Reagan Swayze: put me in the first ten scenes of persecution of all time and I think most people would agree with me on that one. Die Hard could be the biggest action movie of all time, but "Point Break" is not too far. Keanu Reeves plays federal agent Johnny Utah (a role that was born to play), who is associated with a veteran federal agent Angelo played by Gary Busey to crack the case of the former chairman of Bank robbers. Angelo has a theory that the bank robbers are surfers, and Johnny goes undercover as a surfer to break the bank robbers. Along the way it meets the adrenaline junkie Bohdi played by Patrick Swayze. Well, I am not going to give away. This movie has some of the most amazing action scenes ever! It's very entertaining and very quotable. There is something about movies with TV personalities of the 70 that automatically makes me want to watch. And this is not an auto. I think this is a great story if it's true or not. I suspect that the real Chuck Barris in mind, but I suspect he was doing a little bit of pot and alcohol do so in the film. My biggest beef is the casting of George Clooney and other major stars of the film. That clash with the casting of the Barris. The BIG exception to this rule are very clever cameos by Matt Damon and Brad Pitt. The quotation at the end of the film by a great Barris (spoiler?): "I have an idea for a new Gameshow: three old guys sitting around discussing how close reached greatness. At the end of the show, the one that did not blow his brains out wins a refrigerator. "

Chuck Barris knows what sells, and he gives you. I do not buy for a second that he was a CIA agent recruited by the CIA. But, not to make a story much better than its story from real life. The "spy" of the sequences in this movie resemble each Cheesy spy novel or movie that was never removed. And it seems that Barris has seen and read all these films cheezy to form their "souvenirs". If you pay attention, you will notice that the cameo of the real unknown comic really serves to establish the premise that all this was a fantasy Barris. After all, if someone had pulled a gun at you and that drew directly on his head, you figure that its a great memory of that person would be the case. But the best thing that could emerge from the unknown comic for this movie was "I never saw that side, but a large part of the crew thought it could turn into them." That does not sound exactly like the declaration of a do in a film that aims to reveal the "truth". Putting all that aside, like a movie, I thought it was fine. Lots of twists and turns, not on the dark side at all, as some have commented. It's a glimpse inside the delirious ramblings of a sick mind, which I thought was fun and different.

Too often, when a player decides to try his hand at the address, the result is disappointing. It is as if the players feel the need to prove themselves as a bold vision of the direction that the style of his film takes precedence over substance. Such is the case here with "Confessions of a dangerous mind." George Clooney overdirects this movie to the hilt. Count the number of non-conventional compositions that serve no purpose other than to be unconventional. I love the pilot, the original film, but I hate pretentious directors who think that merely by shooting a scene from a crooked angle they are doing great art. "Confessions" should be much better than it is because it's full of striking images, music propulsion and very good results. But it is a mish-mass, not helped at all by the mess of a script by Charlie (most over-rated in Hollywood scriptwriter) Kaufman. And who took the decision to shoot the entire movie in a funky, surreal color scheme should be denied the right to work in the cinema forever. Again, it serves no purpose and theme does nothing but distract. This is not a horrible film - is not even necessarily a bad movie. However, I just did not like it. It contains elements of good - the acting, for its part, is pretty solid in all - but I thought the whole thing just felt flat, and not anywhere near as interesting or dynamic, as they seemed to think it was. Grade: C

Confessions of watching the credits one may wonder if George Clooney film without any help. I mean, Charlie Kauffman wrote the screenplay, and Soderbergh is one of the producers. I think that there is no doubt that both gave a hand to Clooney. The influence of the Coen Bros. is fairly obvious (Clooney is a good friend of them, and has worked on two of his films), Clooney has chosen a slope, one of the most popular television producers in the 70s (Chuck Barris), who worked as a CIA agent at the same time. A true story. Perhaps one of the advantages of an actor-director is making a good selection of players and just take them where you want. In this way, Dick Clark, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, Rutger Hauer veteran, are high (especially Clark, despite the abuses that some of its "whisper" -). The film has been built as a pseudo-documentary: We've seen the people who took part in the story tells us about Barris. We also hear the voice of more than Barris throughout the film. The plot is a bit confusing at times, and sometimes Clooney is slowing down more than necessary. I can not heklp think that with this story, a more experienced director have done a magnificent appeared film. Therefore, George Clooney becomes as a promising filmmaker, to the class (as himself). We'll see if that promise becomes a reality. My type: 7 / 10

I have this movie, but boy, I have no trouble defending it. Like the Police Academy movies, if you've seen an Adam Sandler movie, which has seen nearly all of them. Anger management, however, has an element so that no one should be able to refuse: Jack Nicholson with a bang. In a movie star combo just crazy thinking that will never happen, Nicholson plays a psychiatrist (with the usual reduce beard grown out) that invades Sandler in life, to their dismay, in order to transform it into a sticky ball Sun happiness. A strike with this film is the ultimate in Yankee Stadium, where a pathetic twist is revealed that insults its viewers hard intelligence. Strike two is neverending and unnecessary envy of the penis humor in the whole plot that most, Ahem, goes limp. These bitter facts of the movie, but it is too hard for this strike at a Nicholson and other celeb cameos provide so much joy. My favorite scene Sandler is the first group of anger management session, and it's all because of John Turturro. Turturro has the same gift (only fresh) that Steve Buscemi has to play the goofballs habitual littered across a Sandler movie, and in managing anger, it makes me wish that all following him and Nicholson instead of fat, the aging, non-ex - Sandler renegade hip. Get past the big problems (too much to ask, I know) and that could only appreciate this.

I have a bad temper, I admit. I had heard of ways of how to calm temperament before, but I was not as prepared for the first class to laugh along my path when watching this film. Dave Buznik (Adam Sandler) was on the plane and it was a misunderstanding that led him to classes in anger management instructor under Buddy Rydell (Jack Nicholson). When Buddy had to take over the calm temperament of Dave, met with silly and hilarious results along the way. Buddy methods deemed May ... a bit strange and radical, but somehow seen a change in Dave. There may be some kind of inside jokes about something in the way in the movie, but then I kept quiet and tried to understand along. For people like me who can kind of flashes of his temper at times, I found myself giggling at times when watching. A comedy with some crude language in which they were thrown, but if one is adrift, is understood.

Anger management (2003) Sandler and Nicholson shine in this epic comedy of enormous proportions. Let me begin by saying that this movie is solid in most of the time and very often, scenes of great humor. The good thing is, the lines are good, the characters are good and the story is crazy. This is a good movie. It's good because of all the casting. Nicholson is the greatest comedian, not comedian in the world, if you know what I mean, his exuberant energy and madness shine in each of his films. Sandler as always (playing the same character) is perfect for the role assigned a. Moreover, with the exception of the two main roles, my favorite has to be Chuck, played by John Torturro with such knowledge and explosiveness that is a wonderful addition to the film. There is no need to analyze the film more, only to note that this is a very funny movie that can be seen again and again. What more do you want? Stick on the DVD and laugh for 100 minutes. It is a great entertainment ... 7.5/10

** ** Yawning I guess the only joke was on me. I expected more from Adam Sandler, but of course you can not hit a homerun every time, just look at "Big Daddy" and "Mr. Deeds." Just to keep the jargon of baseball, I want to score this movie as one that was thrown out trying to stretch a double. I agree with the issue or casting director who matched up Sandler and Nicholson. There was no chemistry there, do not pull it off. I think I never saw Nicholson together with someone like Sandler. The story is creative and has the right ingredients for a good movie, which only fell flat with the cast.

Most of silly, with Adam Sandler does his usual goofy things, but Jack Nicholson - looking like Orson Welles - gives the film exactly what you need. There are some scenes you expect in an Adam Sandler movie (for example, someone presents something that ultimately embarrassing about himself), but other parties involved really you. The whole "I Feel Pretty" sequence was a real surprise. And, of course, there are some great lines, especially the 'Phobos' scene. Also starring Marisa Tomei, Luis Guzmán, John Turturro, Woody Harrelson and Rudy Giuliani (yes, that Rudy Giuliani). So, in conclusion, I'm not angry at all after seeing this. In fact, I feel pretty. A real scream.

I like Adam Sandler movies and played in. I like Jack Nicholson and his many wonderful films. This is a bad movie, not to see this movie. I am convinced that you can find a better use of their time. Ignore this warning if you must, but later can hear voices in his head saying "cg770 he said then." I tried to keep this short and sweet, but it seems that there is a limit to how a brief comment can be. Let me continue by saying that this is not a terrible movie, just not at all good. I am surprised that the agents had enjoyed in the past might have been misled in this slow yawn fest. I would recommend any other film or Adam Jack instead of this film, usually make entertaining movies. I can only hope everyone involved with the realization of this movie feels shame and embarrassment that the release, and thus do not learn to produce such works boring in the future. Having suffered for one hour and forty-nine minutes waiting for this movie to get rolling, to get to be entertained, I felt compelled to come here and realize that in order to reduce the human suffering going on in the world.

Well, this movie is not for everyone. A little sad, a bit gloomy, and the love scenes are not always attractive, but something in the dark I simplicity. McGregor is incredibly versatile, I do not think once the bohemian poet Christian, or Obi Wan ... Unlike took on a character with a slow movement and threw the parcel that was nice. Tilda Swinton plays the antithesis of a Hollywood seductress, which makes some of the love scenes uncomfortable, but refreshing. The action, taken together, is the whole movie. The action between the characters is subtle and intense, and though they may be biased Ewan as a fan, I thought it was perfect for a night, night of rain!

Young Adam is a powerful and atmospheric drama set in the canals between Glasgow and Edinburgh during the 1950s. Ewan McGregor is Joe, a drifter working on a barge, when he and his boss, find a body in the canal. As he begins an affair with the wife river (Tilda Swinton), we find more information about his previous relationship with the drowned woman (Emily Mortimer). Adapted from the novel by Scottish Beat writer Alexander Trocchi, Young Adam is in a sense, a kitchen sink drama - a vivid image of the working class in his life unpleasant reality. One of the best examples of this type of film is at the Sala de Arriba (1959). However, young Adam has existentialist shades: Joe is alienated and passive, and not only his many sexual couplings offer little pleasure, but to reject the only thing that could redeem him, was condemned to a life without meaning. This may sound too depressing, but the screenwriter and director David Mackenzie's film gives great depth and sensuality. Very interesting. ****/***** Stars.

Savage and vicious, any Sunday offers the viewer a glimpse into a world of athletics is not too far from the real thing. While some of the scenes were a little above, proved to be a pleasant experience. As a big fan of football, I was disappointed in the fact that the NFL does not allow the stone to use their logos and stadiums. Well, I seemed to enjoy the league of fiction, even better, even if some of the uniforms were a terrible team. Jamie Fox portrays perfectly Willie Beamon, epitomizing the selfish athlete with an easily cultivated. Although the speed of Beamon's place was a bit too fast, the message on the rise and fall of stardom that nothing was more poignant.

I found Oliver Stone films to be fairly beaten or lost. Peloton is one of my favorite movies, but I can not stay Alexander. Well, if not a certain rank in the race Sunday in stone? Better than average. While over the top, and sometimes not very realistic, the acting is solid and the story is convincing. Pacino's speech toward the end is definitely a time-out. While I am not a fan of this growing trend of "hyper-edition", the latest departures of Tony Scott, as well as Natural Born Killers, for me it does not hurt this movie. In my eyes every Sunday is underestimated. This is, probably, and understandably, because of their graphic nature and appealing primarily to men. There's a lot going on under the surface when you start peeling back the layers. Pacino coach is a sadness that is almost palpable. There is an interesting sub-treat with Matthew Modine's character. The actual use of former NFL players like Lawrence Taylor and Jim Brown feels natural. This is not just a sports movie, this is true human emotions and is certainly not sugar-coated. If you'd like some movies stone as Wall Street, Platoon, JFK, and it's worth checking this one.

I like very much all the sports I watch the film. There are exceptions. That stupid golf movie magic with the trash. Would you like golf? See Tin Cup. Lights on Friday night is the real business. The calendar is the epitome of baseball films. Here, we have the NFL in everything from gritty glory as a money machine. Pacino as an aging trainer gives a great performance. I found it to be truly credible. Cameron Diaz gives the best performance of his career, with the possible exception of Gangs of New York. Dennis Quaid and James Woods are a welcome addition to any movie, and not disappoint here. Jaime Foxx gave the performance that put him on the road to stardom. Sorry, NFL fans, but this is better than watching the real thing.

Of course, the worst movies I've seen.The plot is as thin as celluloid they were carried on.The acting please .. OH! .. Not even me started.Al Pacino is obviously miscast for his role .. . basically you spend your time on the screen shouting its lines.Also, Cameron Diaz was so damn cheezy as a team owner of his act ... .. or the failure to act was so horrible I had to put my hands over my nausea eyes.Due to Oliver Stone's film style .. the quick editing chopped ultra-cliched/ultra-stereo-typed characters and so on, we are distanced from the characters.As result, the characters are like "walking corpses", unlikable.Last completely, but no less important , The full frontal male nudity was not at all a necessary part of this movie.How made this movie ends with an R rating? Probably because their women are more on the MPAA board.The persistent male frontal nudity would be the equivalent of showing a woman in the back, spread your lips, the clitoris and exposed ... I wonder what this qualification have been received.

This film is the worst movie I've seen. If you disagree with me, please know that I went two and a half hours in the film. That's right, this movie is horrible, at least two and a half hours long. My friends and I do not feel like sitting through a long movie like "The Talented Mr Ripley," but we went to this movie thinking that it was shorter. It goes without saying that there should be chosen first. The film begins painfully boring. It is the worst camera work I've seen in my life, no one can say what is happening. I guess the terrible editing was supposed to contribute to the concept behind the film, but not only. It is irrelevant full of cuttings that you have to see to believe. The characters are poorly developed and sharing badly: Cameron Diaz does not credible a "bitch" and Al Pacino just does not look like a football coach. On top of that, trying to recreate the drama of real football matches in the film. Of course, I did not see the end of the movie, but nothing could have saved. If you're willing to sacrifice three hours of your life, go see a good movie instead of this piece of garbage.

"Whatever it takes!" has become my line of reasoning now, the speech of Tony D'Mato (Pacino) was a source of inspiration, and I always carried around in my folder. I think the film is a masterpiece, and really should have obtained more air time at the movies. In my opinion it is a qualification by virtue of the masterpiece, it is good for those who do not like American Football, is bright for those that do.

This movie is so horrible. Especially if you like football. Hokey has a story line, lousy script, and an aura of stupidity. If you do not believe me, then you just know it: a kind of eye leaves in the endzone. Ridiculous. Pacino is the only actor in the film that did a decent job ... Diaz is not convincing. Bad movie. Avoid it. 1.5 stars

Michael Jennings is a reverse engineer and what he does is technical jobs for certain companies and as soon as he is done, his memory of the work he has done is wiped out. Michael agrees. Before beginning he turns in all of his personal effects. And when the job is done, his memory is erased and he learns he made over 90 million dollars over the three years. When he goes to claim it and his personal effects, he discovers that prior to the erasure of his memory he waived his rights to the money he earned and that the items that were given to him were not the ones he gave when he began. Later he is arrested by the FBI who say that he committed some act of treason and murder. It's while he is in custody that he escapes using some the items that he was given. He later meets with a friend who gives him some information that helps him understand what is going on. And at the same time Rethrick for some reason wants him so he is being pursued by Rethrick's people.

Some of the behavior of characters in this movie makes you seriously question his credibility. For example, after meeting with the love of his life, having forgotten the three years that went with it, Michael did not even blink. Does not show emotion on the surface. When both go back, and Rethrick expect them to fix the machine, there is no good explanation of why Michael is actually. Being so smart and intuitive throughout the film, which does not realize Rethrick system? I looked up and enjoy "Paycheck" in pay-per-view, as I was tired of paying $ 9 a head to see acclaimed by the critics of horse manure. So what if the action was not Sir Laurence Olivier? Get over it! Besides, I could never stay awake more than a few minutes of Sir Larry. And for all anal-retentive nitpickers who were horrified by a plot of a few flaws, there is a cure, losing the couch, turn off the television and computer and get some sun and fresh air. "Paycheck" was light, fast, and stay in one of the toes. The film was exactly what it purports to John Woo, and we urge everyone to lighten up on their vilification. My only complaint is that there was not enough of the beautiful Uma Thurman, and I wonder where they found all the bad guys that were so bad shooters? This film is not "Citizen Kane" as well, I have yet to get through a whole. I score "Paycheck" 8 / 10.
